The thing that struck me most about Misericordia was the
interest in me on a personal level. When I came up to visit
the campus for a one day tour, they seemed so interested
in everything I had to say. When I visited bigger schools,
the people giving tours just seemed interested in getting
the tour done and not interested in anything I had to ask.
Although I live so far away, I find ways to keep busy and keep myself from getting homesick. I am a member of the swim-team, and get involved with many on campus activities. Intramurals or working out with friends is always fun. Sometimes I even like going into Wilkes-Barre for a movie or something going on downtown.
I am pretty active in the Communications Department and love writing for the Highlander, Misericordia’s school newspaper.
Overall, I believed I made the best choice for my college career. From the Guaranteed Placement Program to the friendliness of all the staff, I love everything about this school.
