Well, since Halloween has ended along with the excitement of dressing up as a superhero, I'm back to my normal, humdrum life of definitely not saving the world. This week has been mostly just going to classes, going to work, eat sleep shower etc. Yuck. Tonight at least I have some things to look forward to - the Voices Project is in the Lemmond Theatre tonight at 8pm, and it looks pretty awesome. I don't know very many details, but it seems like some sort of presentation about diversity involving a bunch of professors and students. Then, Dan Kimbrough's Habitat for Humanity video is being shown in the library at 9:30pm! woohoo! I'm excited to watch that again :-) Maybe I'll even go out with my roommate after that.... then again, it's just about time to fill up the tank with gas, so I'll probably have to skip spending money on going out tonight. Have I mentioned that I drive a minivan? Oh yeah, it's wonderful, let me tell you... I mean, sure there's plenty of space for hauling my crap back and forth between semesters, but other than that it's just way too expensive to drive around with. I guess it's just time to start looking for a nice little car of my own...
This weekend I'm going home to see my Grandma, because it was her 87th birthday last Sunday. Then, when I return to school, it will be time to really crack down. I have two watercolor painting projects due fairly soon that I really need to get working on, since we don't get much class time to work on these ones. Plus, I have a few tests all coming up at the same time (of course). BLah!
I really need to get doing my work, actually, so have a great week!
Ciao
Megan :-)
