Well, today was pretty crazy, I must admit. Physics class has thrown me for a loop and I'm eagerly waiting for a Physics tutor to clear the muddle. In the meantime, there's plenty of other schoolwork to pore over :-P Classes have definitely gotten underway.
Today was my first day back at work in the Writing Center, and several students arrived at the same time. Luckily, we had two tutors working so we got it covered pretty well. After the writing conferences we had to figure out the new electronic filing system, which is pretty neat. It makes paperwork go much quicker, which I am a huge fan of :-) Other good news was that a friend of mine got hired at the Writing Center this semester and we work pretty much all the time together, which should be fun! It's a great job in general, actually, and I love visitors so you readers in cyberspace should come check out the Writing Center sometime ;-)
So, clubs are getting underway on campus this week. Tomorrow is the club fair, where interested students can sign up for emails for information about everything from anime to zoology. I'm vice president of Circle K, a service club run through the international Kiwanis club, so I've been running around getting flyers made to pull prospective club members in. Busy busy busy! Plus, today was the Campus Ministry fair. I run Spirituality on Tap, a discussion-based group that meets once a month. At least last night I had the chance to relax... my roommates and I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall down here at the Townhouse. Let me just say, though, next time I think I'll settle for the rated version rather than the unrated one we watched :-X
Wow, it definitely was nice to have Labor Day off. I'm relieved that this week is a short week, with everything that needs planned out now! But I know that once everything is underway my schedule should calm down a bit, so for now I'm just gonna hang on for the ride :-P
Time for dinner! (my favorite part of the day haha)
Ciao
