Hey ya'll! = )

Whelp it is that time again... wonderful Sunday night where everyone is dreading the week to begin. I think Monday is the most popular least favorite day of the week. Ugh.. I dread Mondays sometimes. However, this Monday will be a little bit different. I have classes and work study which is the norm. Classes are going well so far, I enjoy mostly all of them as they are interesting. I probably have one of the best work study jobs on campus too I think. I enjoy my work I do (I help file, cut out newspaper clippings about our campus that comes out on a daily basis, participate in marketing projects with mass mailing, etc.) and really like the people I work with. They are very supportive of me and even came to my last basketball game I had against Wilkes (my younger sister and I also sang the national anthem before the game!)  They not only care about me as a person but it truly meant a lot for me that they took time out of their schedules to come to one of my games,  a sport that means a lot to me. People just don't realize the impact a simple act of coming to a game means to someone, but that truly meant a lot to me and I'll never forget it. So I like my work study job as you can tell haha. ANyways besides the norm work study and classes  tomorrow night is our playoff game!! we play kings... which is a college right down the road from us. It will be very intense!! I am super pumped! Playoffs are win and move on kind of deal. If you lose- your season is done = ( I am not ready to end my career yet so I want to keep winning obviously haha! I just can't believe it. It is already playoff time. It amazes me because I remember my first year playing college basketball. Thinking how much fun it would be the next four years and here it is almost over. It is a little depressing but bitter sweet because playoffs anything can go. It doesn't matter the past record (only to determine the seeding) but right now. It matters with the game right then and there. I love upsets and our team has certainly be an upset team. We were ranked 7th out of 9 teams. 7th!!!!!!!!!!!! We ended up in regular season as 4th place. So already we have shown our presence in the MAC, which it is our first year being in it. I love showing people that their expectations were far short of what we can accomplish. Why settle for anything less than the best?! Our team has had our ups and downs... but when we play together we can beat anyone. I am a firm believer in that. I love my team. I love basketball. And I can't wait to play my last final home game tomorrow night. It will be sad but fun.. because I get one more chance to put another win for our team this year. Our journey this year is far from being over if I have anything to do with it. WHEN we win tomorrow, we play wednesday against DeSales University (yes my old college I went too haha) who is the number one seed. Then the winner goes to play the championship on Saturday.

Everyone is stressing a little this week because it is the week before spring break. Meaning a lot of classes are having their midterms. ewwww I know. Something I could definately do without. Luckily I only have one midterm this week. The rest I have already taken tests and projects already due that will count for my midterm grades. Some people really freak out about midterms but I don't stress too much because there is still a lotttt more of the semester left to either make or break your grade.  Anywho- our spring break is early. Most colleges have it in 2 weeks. That kind of stinks because I never get to see my friends during spring break. This year my spring break is going to be special. I am going to DISNEY WORLD! Depending on how we do this week with playoffs- we have airplane tickets to leave Saturday. However, we have it ready to be changed at a moment's notice because if we make it to the championship game we will obviously be playing basketball than flying a plane! I am going to disney world with my parents, younger sister, and 5 other friends from school! The friends are friends with Courtney and I up here, 4 of them are our teammates and the other one is Courtney's roomie! I am soo soo very excited. I love Disney World. I especially love Goofy. He is the man! I wear this Goofy headband all throughout the parks.. I think some people even think I am Goofy's relative or something. Who knows! I just love Disney World. I have been lucky and growing up been there a couple of times with my family. It truly is the happiest place on earth = )

After spring break I have to start trying to figure out what I want to do with my life after graduation. I have a lot of different options- try to get a job, go to grad school, or be a grad assistant and be a coach while going to school. I have been looking into all of my options and trying to pick the best suited one for me. Only time will tell I guess. I start to stress out when thinking about it. Just a lot of life decisions I have to start making... ugh I don't want to be a grown up yet!! Seriously!!! Anyways my focus right now is on nothing but basketball and making it to the ship!

I hope everyone has a great week and give a little prayer to the Misericordia Women's Basketball team to do some underdog magic this week for the playoffs = )

Stay Safe = )
