Hey ya'll = )
Hope everyone is pumped today is Friday! Whoot whoot!! I think this week was one of the busiest I have had in awhile. I had a couple tests... which were the first for most of my classes so that made even more nervous! I always freak out on the first test with any class I take... because you don't know the style of the test which scares me. Anyways, I haven't gotten back any results yet.. but I think I did decent. My expressway class, I have one more class left! Ah!!!! It is so amazing how I am done a course in 5 weeks. It was very intense though- no joke. The last class (this Tuesday) I have to do at least a 20 minute presentation to the class. I am kinda nervous, as I don't dread class presentations but just nervous to make 20 minutes. That is a lot of information- so that is what I will be doing allll sunday haha! Oh joy.. can't wait!
I can't believe tomorrow is here. You are probably thinking... um yeah kewl its just a Saturday. It is not just any Saturday for me. It is senior day for my basketball team. Out of the 9 girls.. we have 5 seniors (yep we rollll deep haha!) I just can't believe it is me this time celebrating senior day. I remember all my other 3 years where I would be the underclassmen and think dang they are old. It must stink to end your career.. but yep that is me finally. Not a fan let me tell you. I am a fan though of all the neat and fun celebration we are having afterwards!! TONSSSSSSSS of food and a lot of my family is coming up! It depends on the weather- but I think the big man upstairs knows its senior day because his forecast so far is sunny and 48 degrees! That is shocking up here- where it snows every other day like it is its job. (We actually had a snow day last week which was so much fun! Lots of room and hills to play up here!) Anywhooo... all my mom's side of her family is coming besides a few. My little cousins will be here too!!! Some of my other cousins are coming too! My mom, dad, older sister, and boyfriend will obviously be there too! So if you are in the neighborhood- stop on by! haha .. that was good marketing right there.. I know!
This week.. although it was very busy I did some fun things too! In Banks (where the cafe is, the den, mailboxes, bookstore, and other offices/meeting areas are) there was some free entertainment on afternoon. What kind of entertainment you ask? FLIP BOOKS! It was so much fun! Of course I did a few! You get recorded for 8 seconds and then they print out the pictures and make a flip book. That is what I like here, that Misericordia does. Every few weeks they have something fun you can do in Banks, flip books, make signs, pictures, etc. It is fun and FREE! Every college student lovessss free things (if you don't understand now you will sooner or late.) Another fun thing I did this week was go bowling this Thursday. Every Thursday in Wilkes-Baree (which is about 10-15 minute drive from campus) there is a College Night at this bowling alleys. It is cheap and it is something different for everyone to do! A bunch of us went and we had a lot of fun. I am horrendous at bowling though let me tell you. I was SOOO pumped though last night because I ALMOST BROKE 100!!!!!!! I got a 99! I got a strike.. which might have been the first strike I had in about 21 years (yes, I am 21 years old too) and I started screaming and jumping on my lane. I think people thought I had problems... but I didn't care haha! I GOT A STRIKE! The next time I was up I had a gutter ball but that is ok.. because I got that strike earlier!
Alright well I am off to work study and then relaxing a little before practice! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!! = )
