Hey ya'll = )
So once again I am sorry I've been MIA recently - soooo much has been going on its not even funny! That in a nutshell is how college is. Moving and grooving! For starters... today was my last preseason practice before the games begin! Of course that isn't a sad thing because I am very ready to start playing games. We have our opening tourney this weekend in upstate New York- Saratoga Springs. Whoot whoot!!!! We are playing Cortland on Saturday and then either Skidmore (which we are playing at their place) or Western New England. I am just excited to start off the season. Many people have been putting us down since we lost two 1,000 points scorers. No doubt that definately isn't the best for our program but we have a good group of girls and we play well together. We are going to surprise many teams and give them a run for their money. So let the good times roll!! haha! We leave tomorrow in our rockin vans... and yes my friends I am van certified so if my coaches want a break... I can adequately and safely guide one part of my team to New York! If you were over 21 you had to get van certified which you take a test allowing you to drive the van at any time if need be. Now I learned how to drive and parallel park in my Dad's super long truck so I don't think I will have much of a problem with this van haha! Ok, sorry I think I am talking a lot about basketball haha- can you tell I love it?!
Last time I blogged I told ya'll I was going to our men's soccer championship..well guess what... THEY WON!!! Yep, our men's soccer team are Freedom Conference Champs! Whoot whoot!! That was pretty sweet.. although they brought it to 2 overtimes and ike 7 sudden deaths which had everyone freakin out- but it was a great game! Last weekend I went back home which was fun because I saw little Shredder. He was probably one of the most adorable dogs ever- yes I am a proud Mama!!! We went to Petsmart- Me, Craig (a very good friend) and Shredder- and you should have seen the cute Christmas outfits. Yes, I am definately going to dress up Shredder .. I'm thinking a reindeer. We put some cute outfts on him, but didn't buy any yet. It was so funny. Even Petsmart is getting into the Christmas Spirit.*The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is Singing Loud for ALLL to hear!* I am so pumped I can watch Elf now nonstop and NOT get made fun of. I mean I watch it year round.. but during the year it kinda has to be secret because people laugh at me or question me! I can't help it that the movie is one of the BEST in the world. I love quoting lines from that movie. Courtney my sister and I quote that movie nonstop- whoever is in our van this weekend is going to LOVE it! Our favorite line is cotton-headed ninny muggins. Now that isn't such a hard saying to say..but oh my lanta if you ever heard Craig say it... you would die laughing. Somehow he can't say it for the life of him and it is quite hilarious!
Anywho- the rest of the weekend was fun- we celebrated my mom's birthday which was nov 19 - and we went to Carmines. Yummy!!! It is in the AC casino- the Tropicanna. After dinner we tried some slots (I'm 21 RELAX!!) - I basically watched I am never very good at them but my mom was trying her luck. My dad is mainly the pro though! haha Although he didn't gamble much on Saturday- he was giving good pointers but my Mom was just not having the luck. She blamed the machine. Haha! This week was a little stressful... so many projects are due in so little time. I have a main project in every one of my classes. Ugh! But after projects then its finals. This is probably the most stressful time ever- but after it is done... in about 2 weeks of intense stressing and project time.. it is all over. And no worries.. most survive so don't freak out haha!
