How Competitive is Admissions?
Modified By nortonkl on 9/21/2009 12:46:28 AM)

Hello! :)

I'm a current high school senior from California that's interested in possibly enrolling in your sonography program, as well as doing the pre-reqs at the university.

I'm wondering how competitive admission is.  I have about a 1200 SAT score (reading and math) and a little bit over a 3.0 gpa unweighted.

Do I have a reasonable chance of admission?

Re: How Competitive is Admissions?

Hi,

To enter our Medical Imaging program (and to earn our sonography certificate), a student would typically have to have upwards of 950 SAT and around a 3.0 gpa (with strong science grades). So it definately sounds like you are in consideration range. I would suggest applying soon, because due to our clinical space availability, we have a limited number of freshman slots in the MI program.
