Re: opinion

I definitely think the best part of Misericordia are the classes and the professors. I came to Misericordia in 2007 as a transfer student from a large state university where I had been for over three years. At my old school there were so many students in my classes--sometimes over 250 students in one huge room that looked more like a stadium than a classroom! At Misericordia there are usually around 20 students in each class which has given me the opportunity to get to know my professors--they actually know my name which never happened at my old school. And the professors at Misericordia are great! They are always willing to meet with students and help in whatever way they can--I even had five different professors volunteer to help me with my graduate school searches and applications.

The worst of Misericordia right now is the construction on campus--in the past year construction began on a new dorm, a new building that will have classrooms, offices, and an art gallery, and renovations began on the auditorium and Alumnae Hall dorm. The construction sometimes causes parking problems which is a big gripe for students who commute. The good news is the construction is almost done and I just found out that one of the student parking lots was redone this summer so a lot more spots will be available this fall.

I hope this answers your question!
